From the Orchard
To de-bunk some commonly held myths about how almonds are grown we have collaborated with best-selling magazines Men’s Health and Women’s Health to set the record straight about California almonds’ responsible growing practices.
The Men’s Health content features almond farmer Danielle Veenstra and ABC’s Chief Science Officer Dr Josette Lewis, along with Rory Crowley from Project Apis.m and Dietitian, Juliette Kellow. Together they discuss everything from almonds’ health benefits to pollinator health and biodiversity, water and zero waste.
Women’s Health also hand-picked Danielle to be the face of their article, which highlights sustainability initiatives underway on her almond farm and across the industry.
The content is now live across Men’s Health in the UK, Germany, France and Italy, and Women’s Health in the UK and Germany. It is helpful resource for consumers who might have questions about how California almonds are grown.
