About the Speakers
Lu Ann Williams is the Director of Innovation at Innova Market Insights, a provider of market research services including the Innova Database. For the past twenty years she has been involved in the international food industry where she serves as a consultant to some of the world’s largest food and beverage companies on product development and marketing strategies, trends analysis, open innovation projects and technology scouting. She leads a team of analysts and works with global clients.
Bridget Greaney co-founded 2Betties with her mother, setting out to create a snack that was both nutritious and delicious— with far less sugar than most other snacks on the market. After months of turning their home kitchen upside down, something amazing came out of the oven: a tray of wholesome, healthy mini donut “rounds”— free of gluten, dairy, grains, and refined sugars.
Anish Vanmali created BLD Bar (Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner bar) with the belief that bars should be for more than just afternoons and post-workouts. As a result, Vanmali created a line of vegan and gluten-free crunchy snack bars and turned tradition on its head with natural, savory flavors inspired by classic flavors like country ranch, everything bagel, margarita lime and smoky BBQ.
Joe launched Real Handful with his wife Carly to bring a much-needed focus on fun, “unruly” flavour and value to the healthier snacking space in the UK. Inspired by the snacks Joe used heavily in his Ironman triathlon training, the two created snacks powered by top quality nuts, seeds, grains, veggies and fruit.
