Natalie Henderson is the director of global communications for the Almond Board of California, overseeing the organization’s communication strategy with the objective of growing demand around the world while telling the remarkable story of California’s almond industry.
Natalie has more than 20 years of corporate communications, crisis management and media and public relations experience in the energy industry, wine and spirits, and most recently in the non-profit sector focusing on marketing and development for a children’s bereavement center.
Before joining the Almond Board, she spent 15 years working across internal and external communication functions for E. & J. Gallo Winery where she was instrumental in publishing the company’s first corporate social responsibility report. Additionally, Natalie oversaw spokesperson management, editorial services and all corporate media relations, acting as public information officer for the world’s largest winery.
Natalie loves to travel and previously lived in London while attending the London School of Economics in 2003. A California native, Natalie currently lives in Turlock with her husband and two daughters and enjoys spending time at their family cabin.
