Judy Scott-McKay is a technical specialist in the Marketing Order Services group for the Almond Board of California. She is responsible for managing the pasteurization program for direct verifiable users, custom processors and handlers. This includes the equipment validation process for new equipment, direct verifiable users and California Department of Food and Agriculture specialty point inspection audits and yearly program renewals.

Judy brings more than 25 years of database design, development, analysis and management experience to her role at ABC. She manages the program data and workflows, and interfaces with the program participants, almond industry members and Technical Expert Review Panel members to ensure the program remains in compliance with the Federal Marketing Order. She also assists with the Almond Quality/Food Safety Services Research program and committee.

Her professional experience includes roles as a software QA manager, software testing specialist and technical support specialist at several Bay Area tech organizations. She is a native Californian, met her husband in a band and spends her free time catering to the hummingbirds, frogs and other residents of her backyard.
