Luwam Kidane is the junior database administrator for the Almond Board of California where she creates and manages database objects, helps ensure data security and assists Help Desk personnel with daily tasks.

Prior to joining ABC, she worked as a business intelligence developer spanning different roles and industries. In her latest role, she was a freelance Power BI developer working primarily with privately owned small businesses. Luwam graduated with a bachelors in marketing in her home country of Eritrea. After relocating to the United States in 2015, she earned her MBA from the University of Mississippi. In addition, Luwam holds Microsoft certifications for Power BI Data Analyst Associate and Querying Microsoft SQL Server 2012/2014.

Luwam lives in Tracy, California with her husband and daughter. She enjoys spending time with her family, baking and watching docuseries in her leisure time.
