Rebecca Bailey is a senior specialist in industry relations for the Almond Board of California. She leads The Almond Conference organizing and budgeting efforts and oversees communications with key stakeholders for TAC. She also oversees the Almond Leadership Program, coordinating seminars, leading fundraising efforts and facilitating relationships, and she is the primary lead for Ag in the Classroom while assisting with other, special industry-focused events.
Rebecca joined ABC as a summer intern in 2014, then moved directly into a role as a permanent staff member. She has a deep appreciation for the men and women who drive the almond industry and says providing support to industry members is a highlight of her career.
Growing up on her family’s farm in Turlock, Rebecca says she always knew ag would be a part of her future. She is a product of 4-H and FFA programs, and while earning her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in agricultural communications at Oklahoma State University, she interned for a range of ag organizations that serve famers.
Outside of work, Rebecca is often doing something with her family, traveling to a concert or cheering on the Oklahoma State Cowboys (Go Pokes!). She lives on the property in Turlock where her love for ag began.
