The Almond Board of California (ABC) creates a variety of fact sheets and informational pieces that are available to industry members. One of these is the 2016 “Key Issues & Fast Facts.” This small brochure contains key information about several issues affecting our industry, including the Sustainable Groundwater Management Act (SGMA), water quality and availability, bee health, and more, as well as general industry facts.
ABC uses the brochure at trade shows and as part of its government outreach and education program, providing copies to legislative and regulatory staffers. It’s small, but it’s packed with valuable information to educate those with questions about the almond industry, which makes it a wonderful, quick-reference guide.
