Almond Board is always looking to bring the industry the latest and greatest information about global markets and trade issues. The staff is pleased to launch a series of webinars for industry members surrounding the key issues and facts facing the industry today.
The first in the series will start on Monday, March 14 with a session on China e-commerce.
The Agricultural Trade Office, Foreign Agricultural Service, Guangzhou post, has notified Almond Board that a delegation from Guangdong Province of cross-border e-commerce providers and buyers will be in California from March 10 to 15, 2016.
First, Almond Board will host the delegation for a California Almond overview education session on Monday, March 14 from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the Almond Board office. All are welcome to attend this session and meet the delegation in person.
Second, immediately following the overview session, we will host a webinar for a presentation by the Guangdong e-commerce buyers on the development of e-commerce in China and opportunities that exist. We have also invited Keith Schneller, consultant with eBridgeAsia, LLC and former ATO in Shanghai, to share his experience from the U.S. exporter perspective regarding China e-commerce.
