First Ever Consumer Snack Advertising Campaign in Germany

Europe is the almond industry’s largest export market, and, as such, Almond Board of California is excited to debut its latest European marketing campaign. ad1-web.jpg

This integrated marketing campaign aims to capitalize on growing consumer demand for almonds in Germany and increase consumer awareness and use of almonds as a healthy mid-day snack. The campaign design draws inspiration from aspects of California’s heritage, with the sun symbolizing the goodness contained in almonds. 

The "Snack die Sonne Kaliforniens" (Snack the California Sun) campaign launched October 1 and includes TV spots on German TV networks, print advertising in women’s weeklies and monthly magazines, digital advertising, social media advertisements and mobile and in-store point-of-sale advertising. The advertising will be supported by an integrated social media and public relations program.
