The Incentive and Grower Support Zone will be back for a second year at The Almond Conference 2023. The new and improved version of this year’s Zone will be front and center, located just outside the main ballroom on level two of the SAFE Credit Union Convention Center. With over a dozen organizations with many opportunities to help growers during these challenging times, the Incentive and Grower Support Zone is a one-stop shop for growers to get all of their assistance questions answered.
More about assistance
Technical assistance and grants can aid on-farm efficiency and financial resiliency for almond growers, particularly during difficult economic times. In past years, almond growers have used a variety of cost-share programs to assist with the adoption of technologies and practices in irrigation, nutrient management, dust reduction, cover crop and pest management projects.
Financial support for almond growers, processors and farm-related businesses is available from a variety of federal, state and local agencies and from non-governmental organizations and incentive programs are offered for a range of focus areas.
Who offers what?
A record amount of financial assistance, offered through dozens of organizations, is available to growers this crop year. However, that can be overwhelming when trying to finding the best fit for your needs. The chart below highlights some of the organizations who will be at the Incentive and Grower Support Zone and as well as areas of focus where their programs have funding available.
