10/12/2018

It’s the largest event for almond industry professionals worldwide – and it’s right around the corner.

The 2019 Almond Conference provides an opportunity to connect with allied industry members, browse a variety of products, learn the latest in science and technology, and discover the hottest trends in the almond community. It’s an event where the entire industry converges to knowledge swap and network, and it only happens once a year.

Networking, knowledge sharing, a convergence of industry experts and more – there’s no good reason not to attend The Almond Conference this December.

In its 46th year, The Almond Conference continues to grow and evolve, offering attendees a one-of-a-kind experience. Growers, processors, food safety professionals, PCAs and CCAs alike will all have access to relevant, timely information at this year’s conference.

Experts on irrigation technology, almond pasteurization, global trade, integrated pest management and more are on the docket to present the latest and greatest the almond community has to offer, and a preview of what’s to come. Beyond presentations and learning sessions, The Almond Conference will feature representatives from the brands and products you love and others you’ll get to know.

Keynote speakers will cover a spread of unique topics during the luncheons. Disruptive innovator David Deak will discuss how the almond industry can think of change differently as it navigates its future, and how that change can be accelerated in pace. Almond Ambassadors Gregg Doud and Darci Vetter will delve into the intricacies of agricultural trade negotiations and their affect on specialty crop industries, such as almonds. Luncheon tickets usually sell out, so be sure to purchase your ticket right away when registering.

Throughout The Almond Conference, the Almond Board of California will host a series of sessions detailing the Almond Orchard 2025 Goals that the Board of Directors developed in collaboration with key industry partners. These goals will serve as a guidepost to lead the industry forward on a path of continuous improvement, and all industry members will want to attend these sessions to learn how they can join the journey toward sustained innovation.

While the agenda is packed with educational and networking opportunities, it’s not all business at The Almond Conference. James Garner’s “Tribute to Johnny Cash” will take the stage during the Gala Dinner on Thursday night. Make sure to buy your tickets soon for this not-to-be-missed musical event!
