MODESTO, Calif. – The Almond Conference 2021 will be live, in-person and back in Sacramento this December in the city’s newly renovated SAFE Credit Union Convention Center, the Almond Board of California’s Board of Directors decided overwhelmingly.
The 49th annual Almond Conference is the almond industry’s premiere event and draws attendees and exhibitors from around the globe. It is also one of Sacramento’s largest yearly business gatherings but was forced to go virtual in 2020 due to COVID-19 restrictions.
“Everyone was disappointed we couldn’t meet in person last year. Now we’re excited to be getting back together in Sacramento’s beautiful, cutting-edge convention center,” said Kent Stenderup, board of directors chair and a third-generation farmer. “These gatherings are enormously productive for people in our industry, and this year we’re especially eager to see each other again and to be back in Sacramento’s re-energized city core.”
